Office Manager

Department: WRMC Clinics

Reporting Relationships: Clinic Director

Job Summary: Daily Clinic Operations

Job Duties:

· Supervision of all clinic staff

· Ensures staffing is appropriate for daily operations

· Orders medical and office supplies

· Develops, implements, and maintains office policies

· Conducts performance reviews

· Ensures patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and

develops process improvements

· Coordinates and conducts staff meetings

· Responsible for making sure the office is clean, safe and reports any maintenance

needs

· Monitor's overtime and approves staff time for payroll

· Retrieving of all mail and distribute to appropriate staff

· Set up and attends interviews with peer group

· End of day cash balancing; work up deposits and take to bank daily

· Assist patients with questions on their account or appointment

· Reports any updates, changes, or concerns to clinic director

· Performs other duties as assigned by Director for specialty and clinic.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED required

· Two or more years of experience in a medical office setting

· Professional communication and presentation skills

· Ability to multi-task and problem-solving skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Time management

· Proficient in computer skills

· Ability to communicate professionally with staff, including providers

· Attention to detail and quality

· Possess a strong work ethic

Essentials:

· Must be able to report to work fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of illegal drugs,

medical marijuana, prescription medication, and/or alcohol.

· Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.

· Must be able to multi-task, stay organized and have a good work ethic

Physical Demands:

· Work is performed in a medical office setting.

· Must be able to sit for long periods of time working on a computer and keyboard.

· Must be able to have face to face conversation with patients and staff.

· Must be able to hear and speak clearly.

· Must be able to lift 25 lbs. or less
