Overview

Join the dynamic team at JFYbrand – Just For You Boutique as a Retail Sales Associate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, showcase products, create a welcoming shopping environment, and support the flow between our online store and in-store experience.

The ideal candidate is motivated, fashion-forward, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with a small but rapidly expanding boutique. Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask are essential. Prior retail experience is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service
  • Assist shoppers in finding products that fit their needs and personal style
  • Offer styling suggestions and share product knowledge
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Pull and prepare online orders for shipping or in-store pickup
  • Communicate seamlessly with customers who show screenshots of items or inquire about online products
  • Maintain attractive merchandise displays and visual standards
  • Stock shelves, manage inventory, and organize back stock
  • Handle payments with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette for customer calls and messaging platforms
  • Assist with social media content creation (photos, videos, product highlights)
  • Support team members during busy periods or special events
  • Participate in opening/closing/weekly procedures
  • Perform basic cashiering duties using retail math and accuracy

Requirements

  • Prior retail, boutique, or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Fashion-forward with an eye for trends
  • Motivated, reliable, and eager to grow with our brand
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math
  • Ability to upsell while maintaining a positive, authentic customer experience
  • Knowledge of merchandising and stock management principles
  • Strong interpersonal and phone skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Leadership qualities or prior supervisory experience are a plus but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail
