The Wisconsin Country Club is seeking a motivated and growth-minded Building Maintenance Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who brings a solid foundation in building maintenance—and is eager to expand their skills, earn new certifications, and grow into greater responsibility over time.

Position Overview: As a Building Maintenance Manager, you will help maintain and support all Club facilities, including our clubhouse, fitness center, pool complex, tennis facilities, and event spaces. You will work alongside our leadership team to ensure the property is clean, functional, safe, and operating at the high standards expected by our members and staff.

This position is designed for someone who wants to build a career—not just take a job. You will have the opportunity to grow into advanced mechanical skills, earn HVAC and boiler certifications, and eventually take on more operational responsibility within the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks including inspections, basic repairs, cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and support staff with timely problem resolution.
  • Assist with diagnosing issues related to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical circuits, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment (training available).
  • Support the execution of preventative maintenance schedules for all building systems.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and replacement parts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance work and minimize disruption.
  • Uphold safety standards, keep workspaces organized, and follow all Club procedures.

Preferred Qualifications: You are not expected to have every skill on day one—we are willing to invest in the right person.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with staff across all departments.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
  • Ability to keep accurate maintenance and inspection records.
  • Availability to work some weekends on a rotating schedule.
