As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Aero Sector in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will contribute to a sense of order while you provide exceptional communication and customer service to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing questions and/or concerns as needed.
• Assist with controlling access to designated areas, verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
