American Construction & Concrete is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, on-site role in Mount Joy, PA, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our diverse construction projects.

As an Estimator / Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of important tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Preparing bid invitations and managing a bid schedule

  • Preparing requests for proposals (RFPs)

  • Building and maintaining win-win relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and trade partners

  • Researching and documenting project opportunity details

  • Preparing cost estimates and analyzing project specifications

  • Conducting site visits as needed

  • Collaborating with business development, project managers, leadership, and trade partners/vendors to ensure accurate estimates and successful project outcomes

This position requires a proactive individual with a strong eye for detail, eager to learn and coachable, strong emotional intelligence skills, professional mindset, excellent organizational skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced operation setting while contributing to the overall success of the company.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field in or equal field management experience

  • Commute to the job's location

  • 1+ years of Construction experience

  • Working in an onsite setting

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $60, $90,000.00 per year
