We are looking to hire a Hospitality/Guest Service Manager who will have the exciting opportunity to inspire teams and drive success across two of our unique restaurant locations. As a Hospitality/Guest Service Manager, you will lead front-of-house operations while delivering outstanding hospitality. The ideal candidate is an experienced restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

Pelican Pete's is a well-loved tiki-style restaurant on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA. At Pelican Pete's, we're all about having a good time. As Lake Lanier's only floating tiki bar and restaurant, we offer a one-of-a-kind waterfront experience featuring unbeatable lake views, live music, and some of the best food and drinks on the lake. Centered around good food, good drinks, and good times, Pelican Pete's continues to be a favorite gathering place for locals and visitors alike.

Rays at Killer Creek is an upscale steakhouse located in Alpharetta, GA that blends a sophisticated lodge-like atmosphere with a menu of hand-cut prime steaks and the freshest seafood. It's a premier destination for special occasions, offering an award-winning wine list and a celebrated Sunday brunch buffet. Guest enjoy various dining experiences from live music in a coastal-inspired main room to a more relaxed setting on the covered outdoor patio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service standards
  • Manage daily front-of-house operations and provide hands-on leadership during service
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve concerns
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures for the restaurant
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of dining and guest areas
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Collaborate with management to implement service standards and operational improvements
  • Monitor service flow and staff performance to ensure smooth operations
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or guest service leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide proper documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a high-volume casual dining restaurant
  • Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and scheduling software
