Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Coordinator ti oversee and manage construction projects from Star to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, project scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. Proficiency in construction management software and tools is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
  • Utilize software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid for project management and scheduling.
  • Conduct thorough construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project development.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to address any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction site.
  • Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Foster effective communication among all stakeholders involved in the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and practices.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software such as Primavera P6, Civil 3D, ProCore, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience on construction sites is preferred to understand practical challenges faced during execution.
