Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual Senior Operations Manager to join our team in the Philadelphia Suburban area (Northeast Philadelphia, Bucks County, Northern Montgomery County). This pivotal role will oversee Operations Managers, Area Managers, Site Supervisors, Project personnel and assigned customer accounts. You will ensure all requirements and specifications of sites contracts are adhered too. You will be responsible for the success of assigned customer locations, training and mentoring of Area Managers and Site Supervisors and staff at all assigned locations. It is important to understand site budgeted hours and supply budgets and adheres to those budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe work environment by ensuring employees are following safety regulations and procedures.
  • Accountable for assigned sites operational success.
  • Workloads buildings within assigned budgeted hours.
  • Manage supply chain to ensure buildings are adequately stocked and within budget parameters.
  • Ensure Area Managers, Site Supervisors and project personnel have all the proper equipment and supplies to perform their jobs.
  • Supervision of Operations Managers, to include training and coaching.
  • Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained, clean and in good working order.
  • Ensure sites are operating to contracted specifications.
  • Oversee immediate corrective actions and institutes preventative measures in response to deficiency findings from site audits.
  • Ensure all required corporate reporting is done correctly and on time.
  • Identify opportunities to sell additional services.
  • Maintain good relations with all clients to facilitate renewal and extension of current contracts.
  • Commit to maintaining positive staff morale and propagating Allan Industries' corporate culture.
  • Ensure all sites meet or exceeds financial goals.
  • Ensure consistency of operations at all customer locations.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating staff.
  • P&L responsibilities – insuring profitability for all assigned locations.

Qualifications:

  • MUST be Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • Proven experience in operations management within the janitorial or facilities maintenance industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning protocols and safety regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
