Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include assisting department managers with critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating both vertically and horizontally to deliver the project deliverables on time and  within the  budget. Job expectations include  owning management & execution of projects to realize the target outcomes while adhering to the enterprise change standards.

LOB Description:
Project management role supporting material technology / people / process changes impacting Global Markets Operations. This includes end to end project management of critical projects across all Global Markets Operations asset classes & functions.   The individual will be  coordinating requirements definition with Operational SMEs, defining & managing delivery timelines, organizing & supporting UAT Testing and coordinating operational readiness for deployments. Role faces off to Senior Stakeholders and coordinates delivery multiple technology teams.  Role will also support initiative funding process which includes business case creation, funding allocation and variance tracking.

Responsibilities:

• Partners closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiatives.

• Establishes comprehensive governance structure for the project. This includes working group cadence, status reporting, roles & responsibilities for various stakeholders, escalation protocol, key success criteria and change control procedures.

• Coordinates development of key project deliverables in partnership with various key internal and external business partners

• Manages and leads the execution of multiple and often competing priorities to meet deadlines and adhere with policies and procedures

• Works with Operations SMEs to define and document business requirements to meet the project objectives.

• Determines testing methods needed for assigned projects, educates resources, partners with all testing teams engaged, and provides reporting for the overall testing throughout the testing process.

• Leads defect resolution and roadblock clearing efforts to enable successful completion of testing.

• Proactively identifies project risks and implements remediation plan to manage the risk. Ensures key stakeholders are aware of the open risks and the remediation plan status.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of Project management/Business Analyst experience.

• Expert in using excel to analyze complex data set .

• Experience in writing business requirements, test plans and in supporting  UAT.

• Expert in using PowerPoint to tell an effective story.  

• Clear and concise communications with ability to influence senior leaders.

• Organized and able to operate with limited direction.
