Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Experienced Paint Prepper to join our team. This role is critical to our refinishing process, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and has a sharp eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have previous experience prepping vehicles for paint work and understand the importance of quality preparation in achieving a flawless final finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepping vehicle panels by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
  • Identifying and repairing minor imperfections prior to paint application
  • Ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for refinishing
  • Working closely with our painters to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Following safety procedures and company protocols
  • Meeting quality and production standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of automotive paint prep experience (collision center, body shop, or similar environment)
  • Strong knowledge of sanding techniques, masking, surface cleaning, and primer application
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
