We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background to lead and manage projects across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Jira, Jira Align, and working in a SAFe environment. A PMP certification is preferred. The role involves managing a team ensuring efficient project delivery within stipulated timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones using Jira/Jira Align, ensuring alignment with SAFe methodology.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of 6-7 members across various groups, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders to understand project requirements, deliver updates, and manage expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in project management to maintain high-quality standards and deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement practices within the team and across projects.

Qualifications:

  • IT Project Manager with 3-5 yrs of experience
  • Certification: PMP certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Proficient in Jira and Jira Align.
  • Strong understanding of SAFe framework.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.

Location

  • Onsite role Overland Park, KS 5 days/week onsite with the client team.
