Job Title: Materials Designer 3
Location: Beaverton, OR
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of materials, palettes, and creative strategies for lifestyle and skateboarding apparel.
- Source and evaluate materials such as fabrics, knits, and textiles for women's and men's wear.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure alignment with seasonal creative direction and brand vision.
- Translate cultural and consumer insights into compelling product narratives and executions.
- Maintain hands-on involvement throughout the product creation process to ensure quality and relevance.
- Present design concepts and strategies effectively to stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior Material Designer in apparel, focusing on textiles, leather, and fabrics.
- Strong portfolio showcasing material and color-heavy work, with a clear design process.
- Proficiency in digital design tools and CAD software.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of style and understanding of lifestyle and skateboarding culture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and adapt to different working styles.
