Safety Administrator (EHS Specialist)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Work Environment: Manufacturing shop floor | Business Casual

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Administrator (EHS Specialist) to join our team and champion a culture of safety and compliance. In this role, you'll be a visible presence on the production floor, ensuring adherence to all Federal, State, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, while also supporting internal EHS initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support EHS compliance programs aligned with regulatory standards.
• Develop and deliver training on RCRA, NESHAP, HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift, Crane, PPE, and more.
• Conduct environmental monitoring (air quality, stormwater, waste), permitting, and documentation.
• Perform safety and environmental risk assessments, inspections, and audits; implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and accidents; collaborate with HR on workers' compensation cases.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
• Partner with site leadership and corporate EHS teams to drive continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills

• OSHA Training & Compliance
• Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Safety Inspections
• Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures

Nice-to-Have Skills

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with environmental permitting and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 4–5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $43.26/hr.
