Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Web Administrator to manage and support the operation of enterprise web applications and hosting environments. The role includes maintaining server configurations, ensuring application uptime, and coordinating deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain web servers (IIS, Apache, or Nginx) and related hosting infrastructure.
  • Manage SSL certificates, DNS, and load balancer configurations.
  • Deploy application builds in collaboration with DevOps and development teams.
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
  • Apply patches, updates, and version upgrades following change control procedures.
  • Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures are operational.
  • Maintain operational documentation and monitor incident resolution.
  • Support both on-premise and cloud-based hosting environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in web or system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with IIS, Windows Server, or Linux web hosting environments.
  • Familiarity with SSL, DNS, firewalls, and network configurations.
  • Strong understanding of automation tools and deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting multi-tier applications and database integrations.
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud administration.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios, or AppDynamics.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
