Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise in meal preparation will contribute to an exceptional experience for our customers

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and grill a variety of meats, vegetables, and other menu items according to recipes and specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing for service.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality and safety.
  • Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food handling practices.
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
  • Proficiency with knives and other kitchen equipment used in meal preparation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
