Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department and drive strategic initiatives that support our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources management, employment and labor law, and talent acquisition. This leadership role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage conflict, and expertise in various HR systems. The Director of Human Resources will play a vital role in shaping our company culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Duties

  • Develop and implement HR strategies , SOPs, and practices that are aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees with staff, recruitment software platforms and outreach.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and implementing conflict management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with UI, FMLA, OSHA, and other employment laws while managing workers' compensation and or unemployment claims, quiestionnaires, appeals, and UI eligibility criteria.
  • Lead performance management initiatives to enhance employee evaluation processes and support training & development programs.
  • Design organizational structures that promote efficiency and effectiveness within the workforce.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and oversee payroll processes using systems such as BambooHR, and TPA in payroll systems.
  • Utilize HRIS tools, (Trainual, Excel, Bamboo, QB) for data analysis and reporting on human capital management metrics.
  • Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to develop succession planning strategies that ensure the long-term success of the organization, scaling operations, and locum tenens strategy.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and program management.
  • Effectively oversee HR staff, daily tasks, and the overall progress of HR department and report to executive leadeship weekly progress.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in talent management, recruiting, and employee orientation processes.
  • Experience supervising teams and leading change management initiatives within an organization.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record in conflict resolution and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making processes related to human resources.
  • Familiarity with various HR software platforms is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Pay: $66, $80,000.00 per year
