We are a dessert catering business looking for sociable, customer-service-oriented, proactive, and responsible individuals to assist our one-day event pop-up at University of Michigan on Wednesday, 11/19 (serving time is 2pm-4:30pm). You will work with one of our staff onsite. You will arrival at 11:30am to assist with the set up, and receive a quick training. You will serve from 2pm to 4:30pm, and then help pack up supplies until 5:30pm. (Shift ends at 5:30pm, total 6 hours work shift)

For this shift, we are looking for those who would love to bring a unique experience at events while representing the jolliness of our brand.

If you are interested in the event business, good at multi-tasking, enjoy interacting with people, are passionate about customer service, and can maintain a smile and pleasant attitude under high pressure and fast work pace, we'd love to chat with you

  • Background check may be conducted after successful addition to our roster

Skills/Requirements

  • 21+ applicants only
  • Previous serving or attendant experience is a plus
  • Punctuality/Attendance - 100% showing and on-time (THIS IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT.)
  • Communication - Must not be shy about communicating both good and bad issues, advanced notice of unavailability, comfortable asking questions when you don't know
  • Attention to detail, cleanliness
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Must have current driver's license and clean driving record
  • Social media experience and video/photography skills are a plus
  • Hands-on experience in event and catering service, social media marketing, video filming/editing is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $250.00 per day
