JAN-PRO Twin Cities is a well established cleaning franchise company focused on delivering exceptional services to our customers. We're seeking motivated and outgoing individuals to join our team as Business Development Representatives/Sales Canvassers to help expand our customer base through direct outreach and face-to-face engagement.

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative/Sales Canvasser, you will be responsible for making phone calls and going door-to-door to promote our services, generate leads, and set sales appointments. You will also be responsible for updating our CRM with new leads, and information gathered during your prospecting efforts. This role is ideal for energetic self-starters who are confident communicators and enjoy working in the field. This is an entry level sale role with an opportunity for promotion based on performance review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on average 400+ outbound activities weekly (door knocks, calls, emails, direct mail) to identify and engage prospects across diverse sectors (offices, medical, schools, gyms, restaurants, etc.)
  • Develop and manage cold and follow-up campaigns to nurture leads
  • Utilize sales intelligence tools like ZoomInfo and internal CRM systems for prospecting and pipeline development
  • Reach out to current customers to generate referrals and expand opportunities
  • Qualify leads through needs analysis to ensure a strong fit for janitorial and commercial cleaning services
  • Schedule 2+ high-quality site visits daily for the Outside Sales team
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records of outreach activities, lead status, and follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize messaging and campaign effectiveness
  • Continuously build and refine a robust sales pipeline within the Twin Cities market

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, or BDR/SDR roles, ideally in B2B or service industries is a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrated success with high-volume outreach, lead qualification, and appointment setting preferred, but not required
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools such as ZoomInfo, Zoho, and similar platforms preferred
  • Strong phone presence, excellent written communication, and campaign development skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Experience or knowledge of commercial cleaning or facilities services is a plus, but not required

Compensation:
Draw Against Commission with on target compensation of $75,000-$80,000
