Position Title: 0.5 SE Teacher
Location: Morley
Must work in collaboration with general education teachers, specialists, paraeducators, and all other staff to plan for and deliver programming. The candidate must be able to work with students across grade levels. This teacher will instruct students with behavioral and academic needs. The teacher should have knowledge of the regular education curriculum, individual student programming, de-escalation, and behavior management strategies. The teacher must plan for and deliver high-quality instruction in multiple content areas, and build a strong partnership with families. The teacher must share the responsibility of developing and implementing programming to address individual student needs. The teacher must plan schedules, prepare for, and lead/attend meetings, complete all Special Education paperwork and documentation for meetings, and collaborate with family members as part of the Special Education process.
This position is subject to a veterans preference.
