Job Description

The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is hiring (2) Security Door Attendants for its community in Boston, MA.

Work hours:

(1) NIGHT TIME: 11pm - 7am, flexible schedule, weekends required.

(1) DAYTIME Floater, , flexible schedule, weekends required.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet homeowners, residents, visitors, guests, members of the Board of Directors, maintenance vendors, and contractors.
  • Open doorways for people to enter and exit.
  • Ensure the front door and lobby area are secure and safe.
  • Remain at assigned post and correct stance.
  • Respond to inquires and assist where needed.
  • Play active role in the valet parking procedures and ensure timely removal of cars. Secure taxicabs for residents and guests.
  • Transport luggage for Porter pick-up and deliver to unit.
  • Communicate with, update, and inform Concierge Staff and Management team.
  • Assist Porters in the placement and removal of lobby rain/snow mats as well as assist in maintaining the entrance area and lobby.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of local attractions and activities.
  • Other duties as requested.

Pay rate: $20-$23 an hour.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Door Attendant and/or Security functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Service driven, Customer Focused, Team oriented.
  • Outgoing and polite persona. Proactive and takes initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make good decisions in a quick manner.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in removing, replacing and transporting residents and/or guest luggage and packages in and out of vehicles.
  • Ability to withstand being outdoors and exposed to all weather conditions throughout assigned shift.
