Beyond TalentEdge has started our recruiting efforts for a Dishwasher at a local college. A Dishwasher cleans equipment, utensils, pots and pans, and work areas including floors and walls, and handles supplies in a food service department.

Responsibilities:

  • Picks up used dishes from counter areas and tables, etc. Prepares for washing by

    scraping and pre-rinsing and washes by machine, or by hand, silver, china, glasses

    and/or pots and pans

  • Replenishes milk supply

  • Transports supplies, equipment, and materials, as directed

  • Picks up dishes, etc. from tables when necessary

  • Unpacks stock

  • May, on occasion, help serve on counter or perform other duties in food service area

  • Cleans Machines and kitchen equipment

  • Washes floors and walls.

  • May wax floors

  • May clean windows and do other general cleaning as directed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Needs to be able to follow direction, communicate effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Have knowledge of basic food safety and a strong work ethic

  • Must be at least 18 years old

Salary & Schedule:

$16.50 per hour

Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 8am-4:30pm
