The Central Scheduler plays a key role in supporting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychology programs by coordinating all aspects of patient scheduling and access. This role focuses on efficiently connecting patients with available providers as quickly as possible, ensuring that all scheduling processes run smoothly and patient experience remains exceptional. The Central Scheduler works closely with the CBT clinical team, the Psychology Clinic, and on-site Rehab Services Coordinators to manage provider availability, maintain scheduling accuracy, and maximize access to care.

What you will do: 

  • Communicate with patients for scheduling and scheduling needs
  • Will coordinate to gain approval for transportation, interpreter, and lodging accommodations
  • Navigate and maintain scheduler within the EMR 
  • Enter data and information in the desired database locations
  • Communicate with IPM staff to ensure patients are being treated
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patients' personal information
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients and peers
  • Become familiar with the California Worker's Comp Labor Code
  • Completion of the required tasks within the desired deadline
  • Assumes other responsibilities as appropriate to the position and organizational needs

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

  • Experience with coordinating between different departments
  • Customer Service: manages difficult or emotional patient situations
  • Highschool Diploma or GED. An associate degree or higher education is a plus.
  • Previous experience with EMR/HER systems desirable
  • Problem Solving; identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develop alternative solutions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 2-5 years of experience in an administrative or scheduling role, preferably in behavioral health or medical settings. 
  • Experience supporting remote teams is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical terminology is helpful but not required.

Compensation Range:  

$21.00 to $23.00 Hourly  

All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
