Senior Analyst – Operational Risk / Project Management

Hybrid | $90K – $125K + bonus | Established Financial Services Firm

We are supporting a well-established financial services organization that is expanding its Operational Risk / Shared Services program management team. This hire is being made due to growth and increased volume of strategic initiatives across digital transformation, process improvement, and new product launches.

This is a proactive, execution-heavy role designed for a motivated contributor who enjoys structure, collaboration, and hands-on ownership of projects in a detail-driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing

You will serve as a junior project manager within the operational risk / change management function, helping drive large cross-departmental initiatives. Core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting multiple enterprise-level projects tied to new product launches and shared services transformation
  • Building and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and meeting trackers
  • Preparing executive-ready reporting (status reports, steering committee decks, project updates)
  • Coordinating with stakeholders across risk, shared services, operations, technology and business leadership
  • Helping standardize and enhance PMO templates, tools and process frameworks
  • Identifying dependencies, surfacing risk/issues, and ensuring accountability for next steps
  • Documenting decisions, workflows, and process improvements for organizational alignment

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 to 4 years' experience in financial services, consulting, PMO, or business process / change management
  • Exposure to operational risk, shared services, or enterprise project management environments is highly beneficial
  • Strong experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint); exposure to MS Project or Agile methodologies is a plus
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is helpful (not required)
  • Strong communicator who can synthesize details for management-level audiences
  • Operates with urgency, ownership and a "no job too small" mindset
  • Enjoys partnering cross-functionally and building repeatable processes
