Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and execute functional tests.
  • Assist in designing and prioritizing a maintainable and robust test automation framework.
  • Analyze automation results and contribute to framework improvements.
  • Clarify functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Use bug tracking systems to submit, track, and manage defects.
  • Analyze test results across the full stream and provide meaningful reports to the project team.
  • Maintain software testing artifacts.
  • Use queries to create test data and analyze results.
  • Coordinate other testing resources and ensure coverage for each software release across manual and automated testing.
  • Initiate process and execution improvements for QA phases of the SDLC.
  • Utilize tools efficiently, including relevant AI technologies.
  • Mentor less experienced team members.
  • Serve as QA lead for a small stream team.
  • Reproduce and analyze client-reported issues.

  • Perform detailed project planning and management support, including:

  • Work breakdown structure

  • Estimates
  • Timelines for QA tasks
  • Status reporting
  • Project closeout activities related to testing

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $127, $185,150.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
