Job Title: IVR Tester

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IVR Tester with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in testing Contact Center and IVR systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utilities industry, with proven expertise in functional and performance testing, as well as end-to-end system validation. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system workflows and ensure superior user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze contact center workflows and identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end (E2E) testing on IVR and contact center systems.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  • Conduct testing across software, telecom, and reporting systems to ensure seamless integration.
  • Validate that business and user requirements are met throughout the testing process.
  • Review requirements documentation to confirm testability and completeness.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to ensure quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IVR and Contact Center testing.
  • Experience within the utilities or related industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and E2E testing.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven applications and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) testing.
  • Proficiency with test and defect management tools such as Jira and Quality Center (QC).
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
