Ascension Via Christi is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team here in Wichita, Kansas.

Position Responsibilities:

• Join an amazing Cardiac Surgery team
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred.
• Surgical experience is highly preferred.
• Surgical schedule that does allow for some flexibility dependent upon cases.
• Documents delivery of health care and processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network policy.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Orthopedic Physician Assistant preferred.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
