Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement
    scalable cloud network architectures across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to automate network provisioning and configuration.
  • Manage
    traffic routing and load balancing
    using tools like HAProxy, API Gateway, and native cloud load balancers.
  • Establish and maintain
    hybrid connectivity
    (Interconnect, VPN, BGP) between on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Implement and manage
    security guardrails
    using Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls and related policies.
  • Ensure
    network observability and reliability
    using monitoring tools such as Datadog, Logic Monitor, Splunk, Catchpoint, or Nagios.
  • Participate in
    production change management
    , troubleshooting, and incident response to ensure high network availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network services into CI/CD pipelines via Git and automation workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of experience in cloud networking, with a strong focus on
    GCP networking at scale
    .
  • Hands-on expertise in
    VPC/subnet design
    ,
    Cloud Router/BGP
    ,
    Interconnect/VPN
    configuration, and
    hybrid connectivity
    setups.
  • Strong experience with
    Terraform
    (modules, state management, CI integration) and
    Ansible
    automation.
  • Knowledge of
    HAProxy
    ,
    API Gateway
    , and
    cloud-native load balancing solutions
    .
  • Proficiency with
    Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls
    and implementing security guardrails.
  • In-depth understanding of
    TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and DNS
    protocols.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot network issues using monitoring and logging tools such as
    Datadog, Logic Monitor, or Splunk
    .
  • Experience operating in
    production environments
    with mature
    change control
    and
    incident management
    processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-cloud experience across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Experience integrating network automation into CI/CD workflows.
  • GCP or AWS networking certifications (e.g.,
