Overview

Atmos provides services in environmental, health and safety, construction, property and building maintenance, and labor compliance projects to our clients at federal, state, local, and commercial institutions.
Duties
Working with our construction department, the candidate will be responsible for providing all on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job safety. The candidate's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Ensure that the subcontractor fully executes and complies with his contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
- Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
- Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
- Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Presiding over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
- Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regard to quality of work or scheduling.
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Lead Superintendent on at least one project and Assistant Superintendent on two.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and lead teams effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills; adept at planning personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Proven leadership, conflict resolution, and customer-service orientation.
- Committed to quality, continuous improvement, and meeting/exceeding client expectations.
- Proficient with PCs and communication tools (email, internet); aligned with Atmos's integrity and core values.
Pay: $80, $130,000.00 per year
