Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager Assistant to support our construction management team. This role involves assisting with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and familiarity with industry-standard software tools. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in construction project management within a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software
  • Support project coordination activities, including tracking progress, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Prepare and review construction schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Aid in cost estimation and budgeting processes utilizing HeavyBid and construction estimating tools
  • Collaborate with site teams to facilitate communication between stakeholders and ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, schematics, change orders, and reports
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes for project teams
  • Support project managers in tracking project milestones and managing project scope changes
  • Contribute to site safety documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols on construction sites

Skills

  • Proficiency in Construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, ProCore, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools
  • Strong understanding of construction site operations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contracts management
  • Experience with project scheduling, construction estimating, and civil engineering concepts
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of construction management principles including project coordination, site safety protocols, and contract administration
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with construction site experience is a plus for understanding field operations
