Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant with a strong understanding of major social media platforms. This role combines traditional administrative support with hands-on social media management to help maintain efficient office operations and build our digital footprint. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support: manage calendars, schedule meetings, handle phone calls and emails, prepare documents/reports, and organize files.

  • Greet visitors, coordinate office supplies, and assist with event planning or travel arrangements as needed.

  • Manage and grow our social media presence: create and schedule posts, engage with followers, monitor analytics, and stay current with platform algorithms and best practices.
    • Develop content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others (experience with tools like Canva, Hootsuite, or Buffer is a plus).

  • Assist in basic marketing efforts, such as drafting newsletters, tracking engagement metrics, and supporting digital campaigns.

  • Perform data entry, maintain databases, and handle other ad-hoc tasks to support the team.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • 1–3 years of administrative support experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of all major social media apps (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), including content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred:

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).

  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and trends.

  • Familiarity with marketing concepts or prior role involving digital content.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
