Join a high-energy organization at the forefront of supplying precision medical instrumentation as a Staff Accountant This position will oversee essential day-to-day accounting processes and offer direct, hands-on assistance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with key strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all daily AP tasks, including meticulous processing of invoices, managing employee expense reports, and updating vendor records.
- Contribute to AR functions by ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing, applying cash receipts, and collaborating on collection activities to optimize cash flow.
- Provide active support to the finance department during the monthly closing cycle by preparing standard journal entries, calculating and recording accruals, and compiling relevant documentation for financial review.
- Complete precise monthly reconciliations for various general ledger accounts, including bank statements and fixed assets, to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all financial data.
- Help the CFO in updating and documenting accounting procedures and contributing to various Human Resources-related projects.
- Undertake various special assignments as they arise, providing continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Accounting, or a comparable blend of education and practical experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to teamwork.
- Demonstrated intermediate competency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
