About 2X

2X is a fast-growing B2B marketing-as-a-service company transforming how marketing organizations scale. We partner with CMOs and revenue leaders to deliver world-class marketing execution, modernize GTM operations, and accelerate pipeline growth. Our global model, deep domain expertise, and data-driven approach allow our clients to operate with greater efficiency, agility, and impact.

Role Overview

The Account Executive (AE) will play a critical role in driving new business growth and expanding 2X's footprint within the B2B marketing ecosystem. This role is responsible for developing and closing new and existing client opportunities, shaping solutions that align to key marketing challenges, and representing 2X as a trusted advisor to CMOs, VPs of Marketing, and GTM leaders. The ideal candidate is consultative, metrics-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through solution scoping, proposal development, and contract close.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across targeted accounts and ideal customer profiles.
  • Conduct discovery (with support from presales/SMEs) with marketing and revenue leaders to understand business challenges, operational gaps, and resource constraints.
  • Partner with internal delivery, strategy, and operations teams to develop compelling proposals and account plans for prospects and customers.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, business cases, and ROI narratives that demonstrate the value of 2X services.
  • Lead negotiations, address objections, and ensure alignment of pricing, scope, and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM documentation (Salesforce).
  • Represent 2X at industry events, webinars, and conferences to build brand awareness and thought leadership presence.
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns, account-based activities, and content supporting sales motions.
  • Be aware of market trends, client needs, competitive dynamics, and product/service opportunities, and provide feedback/insight to leadership where applicable.

Qualifications Needed

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in marketing services, SaaS, professional services, or agency environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota within consultative or solution-based selling roles.
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling, confident in building strategies around solutions that demonstrate the business impact of the buying decision.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives and build trusted partnerships.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment with adaptability, resourcefulness, and strong self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales enablement tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B marketing—demand generation, marketing operations, ABM, content, digital, or similar areas a plus.
  • Experience selling professional services or retainer-based service offerings is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package, including base salary and commission.
  • Hybrid work model with an office in Malvern, PA.
  • Opportunity to be part of a high-growth company reshaping how B2B marketing teams operate.
  • Global exposure and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Learning and career-development opportunities in modern marketing, operations, and GTM strategy.
