We are seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver to join our team at a small 6-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with residents and staff in a team-oriented, supportive environment. Our goal is to provide respectful, high-quality care while maintaining a warm, home-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to resident care.
- Assist with medication reminders or administration per facility policy.
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition or behavior.
- Follow care plans, facility policies, and Title 22 regulations.
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with other caregivers and staff.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (RCFE experience a plus).
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to resident needs.
- Willingness to follow direction and provide consistent care.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass background check and provide references.
- Current TB clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Supportive, team-focused work environment.
- Meaningful work with a close-knit group of residents.
- Competitive pay based on experience.
