Overview

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking an experienced
Facilities Manager
to oversee all
building operations, maintenance, and safety systems
in our state-of-the-art healthcare environment. As part of the
UF Health network
, you'll help ensure our hospital operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily
    Plant Operations
    , maintenance, and utility systems.
  • Oversee
    building infrastructure, life safety, and environmental systems
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    AHCA, NFPA, and OSHA
    codes.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate facilities team members.
  • Develop budgets, coordinate vendors, and manage facility projects.
  • Support long-term planning for hospital upgrades and capital improvements.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferred; specialized facilities or engineering training required.
  • Valid Driver's License (per UF Health Vehicle Policy).
  • Proven leadership in
    hospital or healthcare facility management
    .
  • Knowledge of
    safety regulations, building systems, and compliance standards
    .
  • Experience in
    Naval Power Engineering
    or hospital engineering preferred.
