Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Manager at Mills Auto Group in the central and western North Carolina market is a crucial role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our dealership. As the leader of our service department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of automotive service, including customer service, parts, inventory, and personnel. This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a base salary plus commission, offering a competitive compensation package of $80,000 to $120,000 per year, paid twice a month.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze service department performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality service standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all service department activities.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and developments, and implement best practices.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive service management.
- Proven track record of success in increasing service department profitability and efficiency.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Sound knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software related to automotive service.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
