With 200 employees and over 50 dealer accounts, we are looking to triple our size in the next 7 years.
Position Overview:
Due to continued growth and demand, we are looking for a COO to take us to the next level. The COO will be focused on operational efficiency, operational leadership and development, customer relations, financial performance, as well as growth and expansion.
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all detail and photography services, ensuring speed and quality are delivered at the highest level to our dealer clients every day. This role oversees field performance, manages relationships with our dealer clients, builds strong leadership at every level, and creates the systems and discipline that keep operations predictable, efficient, and customer-focused. The COO hired will partner closely with the CEO on strategic growth while ensuring the organization scales without sacrificing standards. This is a hands-on, field-first leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, develops strong teams, and is motivated by the opportunity to build a best-in-class operation with massive demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously improve operational performance across all detail and photography services, delivering speed
and
quality with equal priority. Build systems, discipline, and leadership capacity that elevate people and performance. - Lead financial performance while staying focused on KPIs
- Maintain strong working relationships with dealership decision-makers
- Ensure operations are proactive, reliable, professional, and high-quality
- Standardize SOPs - oversee operations, ensuring a structured and scalable process for continued growth.
- Drive market expansion and revenue growth aligned with strategic targets
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing teams, fostering accountability and results.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes for increased efficiency and success.
- Identify opportunities for growth, whether through organic efforts, strategic partnerships, or other creative avenues.
- Build leadership bench strength and market-ready capacity
- Identify, recruit, and develop high-performing field leaders
- Use data to improve efficiency, margins, and volume
- Support integration initiatives that expand the organization's service footprint
- Stay ahead of industry trends to identify new market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in dealership operations – prior experience as a platform General Manager, Fixed Operations Director, Body Shop Manager, etc
- Fluent in dealership merchandising: Vauto / inventory workflows; CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds etc
- Strong business acumen and true desire to make an impact on the business
- Strong ability to manage systems, dashboards, and reports
- Strong background in managing and scaling teams and processes.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mindset, and the ability to think outside the box.
- Exceptional people management skills, with a track record of holding teams accountable and fostering team growth.
- Strategic thinker with a history of achieving measurable results in revenue growth.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to maintain and enhance a strong company culture.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Compensation/Benefits:
- Competitive base salary and commissions, first year OTE in the $250,000 - $330,000 range with room for further growth.
