Location: Northwest Indiana, ZIP Lake & Porter Counties)

Pay: $30-$36 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

Installations & Technical Work

  • Install high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ventilation systems
  • Perform start-up, testing, airflow balancing, and commissioning for maximum efficiency
  • Follow ENERGY STAR guidelines, building codes, and manufacturer specs

Leadership & Quality

  • Lead and mentor a small installation crew
  • Ensure work meets company quality and safety standards
  • Maintain clean, safe, and respectful job sites

Customer Communication

  • Explain system features, benefits, and maintenance to homeowners
  • Promote our mission of sustainability through environmentally responsible practices

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years residential HVAC installation experience (2+ years in a lead/senior role)
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
  • Strong technical expertise in energy-efficient HVAC systems
  • Hands-on experience with heat pumps and mini splits
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with BPI standards or weatherization programs
  • Experience with boiler systems and indoor-air-quality products
