We have an open position for an Equipment / Field Service Technician working from our US head office in Crown Point, IN.

This position consists of 75% in-shop work and 25% travel, including overnight stays.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vacuum lifting equipment
  • Clean and maintain rental fleet
  • Perform inspections to ensure equipment meets safety standards
  • Documentation of repairs and fleet movement
  • Shop maintenance and upkeep, including equipment and tools
  • Perform other maintenance duties or assignments as necessary
  • Provide customer technical support
  • Provide on-site training and product demonstration
  • Regular travel to provide training and product demonstration

Required Skills:

  • Practical hands-on repair / solution skills and mindset
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Must have mechanical experience
  • Electrical experience desirable
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to travel overnight (week days)
  • Forklift experience desirable.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office, Word
  • Must have valid driver's license, a company vehicle will be provided for company travel
