Our Director, Client Strategy, is an integral part of our Client Strategy team, working across a wide range of clients and projects. A Director, Client Strategy at Modus typically reports to a Vice President, Client Strategy, and above.
Responsibilities:
- Advising corporate leaders with insightful digital strategy that drives businesses and brands forward
- Growing client relationships and cultivating new opportunities
- Overseeing digital consulting teams
- Optimizing account revenue and profitability
- Facilitating internal problem-solving, challenging hypotheses, and presenting clear recommendations to the client with thoughtful supporting evidence
- Working with the user experience and engineering teams to drive product innovation and new feature development
- Understanding and advocating for the client's needs and goals
- Working directly with senior leadership to ensure the overall health, direction, and success of the accounts they oversee
- Providing guidance and oversight to strategy, design, content, and development teams
- Generating big-picture vision and seeing it through from ideation to implementation
- Providing exceptional service to clients while delivering engagements on time and on budget
- Coach, mentor and possibly manage employees within your discipline
- Train and possibly help hire new employees
- Work cooperatively with Modus project & product managers, strategists, designers, engineers, and other team members, as required
- Report progress/updates and/or communicate with other team members, project leads, and our clients, as required
- Other duties related to the position that may arise from time to time and may be assigned
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in professional services, with 4+ years leading strategic relationships
- Preferably you live in the NY Metro area or are willing to travel to Modus & client headquarters in NY Metro area once a month
- Experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare is a strong plus
- Proven background in meeting and exceeding revenue targets on key client accounts
- Background in digital strategy & product development with a strong emphasis on technology, design, digital marketing, or a mix of all three
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership, managerial, and customer relationship skills
- Experience with design thinking and agile development methodologies
- Experience managing fiscal health of accounts/projects
- Experience negotiating MSAs & contracts
- Global team management and remote team management experience
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and independent self-direction, along with a desire for team collaboration and open communication.
