A Caregiver/In-Home Care Aide provides personal care services to clients as identified per agency policies and procedures and assists with activities of daily living such as:

  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • Meal preparation, Companionship, and other responsibilities
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client health and condition
  • Light housekeeping
  • Transportation to medical appointments and shopping.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to deliver comprehensive care.

Pay

  • Active HCA or CNA: starts at $20-23/hr
  • Completed HCA/CNA course, waiting on state exam: $19-22/hr
  • In training for HCA: $18-21/hr

  • Flexible scheduling (with shifts ranging from as little as 1 hour shifts to as much as 24 hour shifts)

  • Competitive, biweekly pay (at a rate of 20-23 an hour depending on location and length of schedule)

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Previous dementia caregiving experience is required.
  • Being able to cook is a PLUS
  • A genuine passion for helping others and a strong sense of responsibility are essential for success in this role.
