We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Field Clerk to join our team in the environmental construction sector. The Field Clerk will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring that all environmental and safety regulations are adhered to, and providing administrative support to the project team.

Essential Duties and Responisbilities:

  • Assist in coordinating on-site activities, including managing site logs, tracking work progress, and ensuring that tasks are completed according to project plans and schedules.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and environmental consultants to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, including daily reports, work orders, and environmental compliance documentation.
  • Ensure that all documentation complies with company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.
  • Assist in conducting environmental inspections and audits, and report any non-compliance issues to the project manager.
  • Ensure that safety protocols are followed on-site and that all personnel are adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of work.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies:

  • Base Knowledge of environmental regulations and monitoring techniques especially SPCC Plans, Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control
  • Ability to interpret Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and Drawings
  • Ability to understand and communicate environmental compliance laws and regulations
  • Excellent observational and data collection skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret environmental data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using environmental monitoring equipment and software.
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently.
  • Ability to use a tablet and laptop to create reports, edit documents, and email.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:

Frequent travel to various construction sites

  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Navigate construction sites, including walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
    Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment as required Frequent travel to various construction sites

  • The employee is required to stand; walk; climb ladders; sit; use hands, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
    Must be able to lift 50lb or more

  • 40-60 Hours (Time May Vary)
