Diesel PM Tech 1099 ON CALL/ PART TIME

This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling, ideal for someone who's dependable, detail-oriented, and confident in their mechanical acumen. Will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles in accordance with the agreements between VIVA FLEET SERVICES and their customers 1 to 3 days a week. Essential duties and responsibilities include
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks on medium duty vehicles.
- Performing lube quickly and efficiently within industry standard times.
- Performing minor repairs on all makes of vehicles.
- Performing assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Communicating in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers.
- Preparing required documentation accurately and timely, including work orders, parts lists and time cards.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.
Qualified applicant should have some experience working on all makes and models of vehicles. Technician will need to be computer literate with the ability to open & close work orders from our service platform. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.00 – 30.00 per week
