Cataloochee Ranch is a Relais & Châteaux resort that mixes classic ranch fun with exceptional accommodations and cuisine. Founded almost a hundred years ago by the Alexander family, Cataloochee Ranch has been a favorite mountain getaway for generations of high-country adventurers. Spread across hundreds of acres along the southeastern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the property's breathtaking elevation, open balds, and long-range views are complemented by classic comforts, perfectly rustic cuisine, humble hospitality, and hands-on, expert-led activities.

Our Housepersons are friendly, ambassadors of the Ranch, welcoming guests, assisting with guest requests and anticipating needs to create an environment of personalized service. They work well independantly or as part of a team ensuring the clenliness standards of our Ranch.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome guests and tell the story of Cataloochee Ranch.
• Creates and provides memorable guest experiences.
• Restock items used in public spaces, ensure public spaces are clean and ready to host guests.
• Thoroughly clean guest rooms including changing and making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Assist with removal of soiled linens, refuse, etc. from guest rooms.
• Communicate the status of each room.
• Stock supplies and ensure meeting the Cataloochee Ranch standards.
• Replenish consumable products such as soaps and toiletries.
• Cleaning public and employee areas.
• Respond to guests appropriately and efficiently.
• Work well with all departments.

A strong desire to provide memorable, authentic service. Prior Housekeeping or luxury customer service experience is highly desired. Strong organizational skills, and ability to easily perform and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work varied shifts based on guest & business needs.
• Physical requirements and qualifications:
• Should be able to stand and walk up to eight hours each day
• Lifting and carrying up to fifty pounds regularly
• Hearing, vision, and manual dexterity
• Ability to pull and push full and empty supply carts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
