We're looking for an experienced
Technical Business Analyst
to join our team and help align innovative technical solutions with key business strategies. In this role, you'll collaborate across business and IT teams to analyze, design, and implement system processes that drive efficiency and performance across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis sessions to define and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with architecture and development teams to ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Support feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to a centralized business analysis knowledge base.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Business Analysis within financial services, preferably capital markets or banking.
  • Hands-on experience with both vendor-packaged and custom-developed solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Expertise in business analysis techniques, requirements elicitation, and traceability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Visio, Confluence, JIRA, and SQL preferred.

  • 333 Bush Street, San Francisco, CA
  • Hybrid schedule:
    In-office Tuesday through Thursday
  • Start Date:
    January 1, 2026
  • Duration:
    6-month contract (possibility of extension based on performance)
