About Azzet
Azzet is a new-generation investment marketplace, combining global business journalism with data-driven insights into business, money, markets, and innovation. Through editorial content, podcasts, video, and classified listings, Azzet informs, challenges, and inspires investors and decision-makers worldwide.
We're building an editorial voice that cuts through noise — credible, analytical, and accessible.
The Role
We are hiring for an Editor in Chief to lead Azzet's global editorial strategy from East Coast United States, setting the tone, voice, and direction for all content across digital, audio, video, and social platforms. You will oversee a growing team of journalists, editors, and multimedia producers, ensuring Azzet's coverage is sharp, relevant, and ahead of the curve.
This is a rare opportunity to shape one of the most ambitious new media brands in business journalism.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Editorial Leadership:
Define and drive Azzet's editorial vision, standards, and content strategy across all platforms. - Content Oversight:
Supervise and mentor editors, reporters, and producers to deliver engaging, high-integrity financial journalism. - Audience Growth:
Collaborate with Growth and Product teams to expand reach, engagement, and brand authority across global markets. - Innovation:
Lead experimentation with new storytelling formats — data visualisation, video, podcasts, and social-first narratives. - Strategic Collaboration:
Work closely with executive leadership on positioning, partnerships, and content initiatives that support Azzet's business objectives. - Brand Stewardship:
Serve as a public face of Azzet — representing the brand in media, at conferences, and on-air when appropriate.
About You
Our ideal candidate has:
- 15+ years of editorial experience, including at least 5 years in a senior editorial leadership role.
- Background in business, finance, or economics journalism (print, broadcast, or digital).
- Proven ability to manage editorial teams, budgets, and multi-platform output.
- Exceptional editorial judgment and understanding of global markets, policy, and emerging financial trends.
- Strong on-air or public presence.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a fast-moving, start-up environment.
- Based in New York or East Coast USA.
Why Join Azzet
- Lead a new, independent voice in global business media.
- Collaborate with experienced journalists, producers, and strategists.
- Platform is already established and ready to scale.
- Paywall-free business model increases content reach.
We are interviewing and hiring now. Remuneration is by negotiation. We look forward to reviewing your application.
