ISN is actively seeking an Accounting Manager. This position oversees and directs the daily operations of the payment processing department.  The role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely, and secure payment transactions, maintaining compliance with regulations, and driving operational efficiency. The manager leads and mentors a team of payment processing specialists.

Duties for this role will also include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing Financial Systems support to a large mortgage servicing program.
  • Supervise the daily flow of payment processing activities, including electronic and manual payments, adjustments, and refunds.
  • Monitor transaction accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or complex payment issues.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on payment-related issues and inquiries.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, analyze metrics, and make informed, data-driven decisions. 
  • Research exception items thoroughly and in a timely manner, and drive them to resolution
  • Assist with audits and reporting needs as needed
  • Ensuring supporting documentation and training end users on new software as appropriate.
  • Ensuring the application of financial system policies and procedures, and providing support and guidance on these policies and procedures
  • Reconcile daily and monthly payment activity to bank and servicing system reporting
  • Reconcile monthly bank accounts and new loans boarded
  • Prepare and timely submit monthly client deliverables 

Qualifications MUST HAVES:

  • Experience providing support for payment processing systems.
  • Experience applying and advising on financial system policies and procedures.
  • Experience performing extensive business process analysis through evaluation of financial systems, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Experience in mortgage servicing.
