We are currently hiring for one-on-one tutoring positions. Apply online: Benefits of working for The Tutoring Center include:

  • Competitive Pay. Earn $18-$20 per hour depending on experience and tutoring assignment.
  • Paid training program. We have an in-depth mandatory training program to prepare you. Previous SAT-prep experience is a plus.

  • Unique books and materials. Use our top-notch test prep materials for SAT, ACT and other tests.
  • Build your own schedule. Tutoring sessions are on weekends and weekday evenings. Some scheduling flexibility is essential.

  • Focus on your strengths. Proficiency in both math and verbal areas is valued but you may specialize in just one of these areas. In addition, you may tutor in a wide range of other academic subjects. We are always in need of SAT math experts.

You must:

  • Have your own reliable transportation
  • Be available evenings and weekends
  • Have experience teaching, tutoring or working with high-school aged children
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the SAT subjects you wish to teach (700+ in each subject). A recent Practice SAT is required and can be taken at our center.
