Join Our Team as an Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School of Oxford

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating a nurturing learning environment? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant/Floater Teacher to support our Lead Teachers in providing exceptional care and education to our students. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and is eager to make a positive impact every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
  • Support classrooms as needed to maintain state ratios.
  • Foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of children in a safe and supportive setting.
  • Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with classroom organization, management, and preparation of learning materials.
  • Observe and document children's behavior, progress, and milestones.
  • Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about their child's day.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development to continue growing your skills.
