JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining laptops, desktops, and mobile devices within a Microsoft network environment. Install and maintain anti-virus software on clients. Support Windows desktop hardware and software as part of helpdesk function. Assist with business system support and system upgrades.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Performs network troubleshooting and provides setup, installation, and support for users.
- Provides the installation of department specific software packages and/or software settings on end-user workstations, as well as repairs and maintains specific software.
- Proficient in organization and communication skills, focused on clarity and consistency
- Setup, configure and deploy all company devices such as monitors, desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Setup data collection handhelds used for ERP software.
- Setup and support all company smartphones: Apple iPhone and Samsung galaxy.
- Follow up with associates to ensure the issue has been resolved.
- Keeps end user and asset databases up to date
- Help outside sales force with remote VPN issues
EDUCATION:
- Minimum Training and Experience
- Requires BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field with 1 ½ years of hands-on experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Windows OS and Active Directory
- Ability to learn new technology and apply to business processes
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Mimecast and Trend Micro Anti-virus.
- Hands-on hardware experience with Windows desktops, laptops and servers, components, peripherals, and cable termination and troubleshooting.
- Position requires a dedicated professional with a proven track record of reliability and required skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
