We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high-quality experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and finances while creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the bar team, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing training and support to enhance skills in bartending and customer interaction.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to financial policies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the bar department to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new bar staff.

Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management, preferably in a bar setting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Knowledge of food service management practices and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
  • Experience in shift management, budgeting, and cash handling is essential.
  • Familiarity with interviewing techniques and staff development strategies is a plus.
